Pin Oak (Green Pillar)

Quercus palustris ‘Pringreen’ (also known as Pin Oak Green Pillar) is a handsome, tall, deciduous shade tree renowned for its narrow, columnar habit. It has lobed, glossy-green foliage that transforms into brilliant red in the autumn, with even more vibrant colors in cooler climates.

This variety is particularly suitable for spaces with limited space where a tall tree is required. It thrives in locations like avenues, streets, and driveways, where a columnar form is an asset. Over time, the Green Pillar Oak will grow to a height of about 14 meters (46 feet) and a width of 3 meters (10 feet), offering shade without overwhelming surrounding structures or landscapes.

This tree does well in full sun and is adaptable to a range of soil conditions, making it an excellent choice for urban environments or other confined spaces where height is desired without taking up too much width.
